Jake Belieny

I’ve spent three decades building technology the unglamorous way: shipping it, breaking it, fixing it, and running the businesses that depend on it. Not theory from a stage: systems that had to work on Monday morning.

Along the way I’ve collaborated with the United Nations, run companies in the United States for over two decades, and closed deals and projects above US$1 million. I’ve sat on both sides of the table: the engineer who builds the system and the owner who has to make payroll with it.

I taught computer science in American schools through Microsoft’s TEALS program, because I believe the ability to think in systems should be passed on, not gatekept. That same conviction became four published books and mentoring work in three languages (English, Portuguese and Spanish) that has reached people in seven countries.

Today that experience converges in one role: AI Transformation Advisor. I help US service businesses turn scattered AI experiments into reliable, measurable workflows, and I build in public through my own ecosystem of companies, products and events, most of them accelerated with AI.

The thread through all of it (engineering, operations and behavior) is the same: find the structure that’s misaligned, fix that first, and let the results compound.
